Vmail

Vmail is a user interface for UNIX mail which emulates Digital's VMS Mail utility. It lets you continue using familiar VMS MAIL commands as you move to the UNIX environment. With Vmail, you can correspond transparently with UNIX mail users on the network.

Vmail provides over 39 commands such as READ, SEND, FILE, and EXTRACT. For added flexibility, lists of messages can be affected with a single command without the need to SELECT and MOVE each message to a special folder. With Vmail, you can use either VMS or UNIX style names when referencing external files.
